These maths games in Foundation 4 practice so much more than counting and numbers. They teach us to take turns, to solve problems, to strategise and to support each other. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but we always learn!
The children had an amazing time on their school camp to Mas Llop this term!

Foundation 4 & 5 have been learning all about sport as part of their ´Curious Kids´project this term.
For one of their activites, Miss Elizabeth and Miss Katie’s class made and decorated frisbees and tested them out to see who’s work best in the playground.

We are extremely happy to announce the winners for the book mark competition.
We ran a competition for San Jordi´s Day here at St Peter´s.
The task was to design theis own bookmarks and a prize was given for the most creative designs. Helena and Adelia are so pleased with their achievement!

Does a hard ball bounce better than a soft ball?
Can we throw a big ball further than a small ball?
How can we tranfer energy from one ball to another?
We experimented with different balls as part of our curious kids project on Sports.
We discovered that the best ball to bounce, kick and throw was a hard ball!!
Stories are a great way to introduce new words and concepts to children. They are also a great way to teach children different concepts such as: size, shapes, colours, numbers etc.
Nursery 3 are learning all about ´The Very Hungry Caterpillar´ this term.
Through this story the children will learn a range of things from the names and colours of different fruits to learning about the world around them.
With the aid of props, the story book and the help of teachers, the children were able to act out the story for themselves. Take a look!
