Fun ways to learn

These maths games in Foundation 4 practice so much more than counting and numbers. They teach us to take turns, to solve problems, to strategise and to support each other.  Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but we always learn!

Stories are a great way to introduce new words and concepts to children. They  are also a great way to teach children different concepts such as: size, shapes, colours, numbers etc.
Nursery 3 are learning all about ´The Very Hungry Caterpillar´ this term.
Through this story the children will learn a range of things from the names and colours of different fruits to learning about the world around them.
With the aid of props, the story book and the help of teachers, the children were able to act out the story for themselves. Take a look!
